Bread poha

Bread poha is an easy breakfast recipe. Add veggies of your choice, paneer also and make it healthy breakfast and evening snack option for your kids.

Ingredients:

Bread slices: 3-4

Potatoes:3-4 boiled

Onions: 2 sliced

Tomato:1 chopped

Peas: 1/2 cup

Carrot:1/4 cup finely chopped

Green chilli:1 chopped

Coriander leaves: 2 tbsp

Curry leaves:6-7

Paneer cubes: 1/4 cup

Fried peanuts: 2 tbsp

Salt: to taste

Red chilli powder: 1/4 tsp

Lemon juice: 2 tbsp

Black pepper: 1/4 tsp

Turmeric powder:1/2 tsp

Mustard seeds or rai:1 tsp

Oil: 2 tbsp

Method:

1.Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves. When mustard seeds splutter add onions and saute them for two minutes.

2.Add carrots, peas, green chiili, tomato, salt, turmeric powder and cook for few minutes so that vegetables get soft.

3.Take bread slices, lightly dip it in water and crush them. Add bread slices, mashed potatoes, red chilli powder, black pepper, paneer and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes .

4.Garnish it with fried peanuts,coriander leaves and paneer pieces and serve.
