Cucumber and capsicum salad

Eating salad daily is a good habit which in turn will give you various health benefits. Eating raw salad will give you loads of fibers, cut out calories in your food. They have lots and  lots of vitamins and minerals. Salad will helps you in energizing you body and stops cravings. Cucumber – capsicum salad which i am giving you here is full of fiber. I love it because of its varied colors.

Servings: 4-5

Cucumber-capsicum salad

Ingredients:

Red, green and yellow capsicum: 1 cup chopped

Cucumber: 1 chopped

Tomatoes: 1 chopped

Lettuce leaves: 3-4

Salt: to taste

Black pepper powder: 1/4 tsp

Olive oil: 1 tbsp

Lemon juice: 1/2 tsp

Honey: 1 tbsp

Method:

1. Chop all vegetables. Put lettuce leaves in ice water so that they did’nt loose their crunchiness.

2. Put all chopped vegetables in bowl and mix.

3. Add olive oil, salt, black pepper powder, lemon juice and honey.

4. Serve it chilled and enjoy this crunchy- munchy nutritious salad.
