Tomato chutney

Tomato chutney to be served with idli or dosa along with coconut chutney. This chutney is very easy and yummy.

Ingredients:

Tomato chutney

Tomato: 3

Onions: 2

Mustard seeds or rai: 1 tsp

Dried red chillis: 2

Salt: to taste

Heeng: a pinch

Sugar: 1 tsp

Oil: 1 tbsp

Curry leaves: 8-10

Method:

1.Chop onions and tomatoes. Put them in blender along with dried red chillis and prepare puree.

2.Heat oil in a pan. Add rai and curry leaves. When they starts to splutter add pureed onions and tomatoes.

3. Add salt. Cook for 10-12 minutes so that water gets dried up.

4.Enjoy this yummy chutney with idli, dosa.
