Dry lahsun chutney

Dry lehsun chutney is mainly used in Maharashtrian style vada pav. This hot and spicy chutney can be used in other chaats also. This chutney is combination of lehsun or garlic, dried chili, roasted peanuts and til or sesame seeds.

Ingredients:

Lehsun or garlic: 8-10 garlic cloves chopped

Roasted peanuts or moongfali: 1/2 cup

Dry red chili: 3-4

Til: 2 tbsp

Salt: 1/2 tsp

Jeera powder: 1/4 tsp

Oil: 1 tsp

Dry coconut: 1/4 cup grated

Method:

1. Heat oil in a pan. Add lehsun or garlic and saute for 1 minute. Switch off the flame and let it a cool.

2. Put red chili, lehsun, dry coconut, roasted peanuts,til, salt, jeera powder in a grinder and grind it to a coarse powder.

3. Dry lehsun chutney is ready. Put it in air tight jar  and keep it fridge for later use. This can be used for next 12- 15 days.
