Paneer pakoda is a tea time snack. It is easy to prepare and tastes well. It is a simple recipe, paneer coated with some spices and then dipped in besan batter and then deep fried.

Ingredients:
Paneer : 250 gm
Salt: to taste
Red chili powder: 1/4 tsp+1/4 tsp
Garam masala: 1/4 tsp
Jeera powder: 1/4 tsp
Haldi or turmeric powder: a pinch
Coriander powder: 1/2 tsp
Besan: 1 cup:
Mustard Oil: for deep frying(you can take any vegeatble oil)
Method:
1. Cut paneer in thick cubes or in lengthwise. Coat paneer with salt, red chili powder, garam masala and jeera powder.
2. For making besan batter, take besan in a bowl. Add salt, red chili powder, haldi powder, coriander powder and mix well. Add sufficient amount of water and make batter of thick flowing consistency.
3. Heat oil in a kadai. Dip paneer cubes in besan batter and deep fry them in hot oil till crispy and golden brown.
4. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with green chutney.
