Mujaddara: A Hearty and Delicious Vegetarian Recipe

2 large onions, thinly slice

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 tablespoon honey

14 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Step-by-Step Looking Instructions:

1. Since the entails and soak them in water or both for at least 30 minutes. Brain and set aside.

2. In a large saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.

3. Add the minded garlic and cook for an additional minute, stirring constantly to prevent burning.

4. Stir in the coming, commander, and salt. Took for 1-2 minutes, until the spaces are fragrant.

5. Add the soaked entails and 2 cups of water or both. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and summer for 30-40 minutes, or until the entails are tender.

6. While the entails cook, prepare the caramelized onion stopping. Seat the oil in a large skilled over medium-low heat. Add the slice onions and cook, stirring occasionally, for 20-25 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and calomel-like.

7. Stir in the honey, cinnamon, and salt. Took for an additional minute, until the favors held together.

To ensure the entails are tender, make sure to soak them properly and adjust cooking time accordingly.

On’t overtook the onions; they should retain some crutch while still being caramelized.

Adjust the amount of honey and cinnamon to your taste. You can also add a pinch of cheyenne pepper for an extra kick!
