Atta ke panjiri reminds me of my childhood days when my buaji(aunt) visits us and prepare atta panjiri for purnamshi fast or on full moon day. We love to eat panjiri prasad which was given to us by her. Today i thought of preparing atta panjiri and my son also loves it like we use to like it as a kid.
Wheat flour or atta: 1 cup
Powdered sugar: 3/4 cup
Ghee: 1/2 cup
Dry fruits: almonds, kaju, makhane(finely chopped or powder)
1. Put kadai on gas burner. Add ghee to it.(you can add more ghee if you want)
2. Now add wheat flour or atta to hot ghee. Keep on low flame and keep stirring it. Roast till sweet aroma comes out and color becomes golden brown.
3. Add all dry fruits and sugar. Mix well and switch off the flame.
4. Allow it cool and store the panjiri in air tight box.
