Pav Bhaji is famous Indian street food which had its origin in Maharashtra.Bhaji is mashed vegetables cooked with spices.Pav bhaji is easy to made recipe and can be made with vegetables of your choice.I have used basic vegetables for making pav bhaji like potatoes,green peas,capsicum,cauliflower.So here’s the recipe of mouthwatering pav bhaji
cauliflower:1 cup diced into small pieces.
ginger paste:1 tbsp
garlic paste:1/2 tbsp
red chilly powder:1tsp
haldi powder:1/2 tsp
amchoor powder:1/2 tsp
corriander leaves(finely chopped):for garnishing
green chillies:2 chopped
1.Boil potatoes,green peas ,cauliflower together.
2.Heat oil in heavy bottom pan or kadai.Add chopped onions,ginger garlic paste.Stir fry for 1 or 2 minutes.
3.Add chopped tomatoes and stir fry masala till oil seperates.Add salt ,red chilli powder,haldi powder,jeera powder,amchoor powder,pavbhaji masala and mix well.
4.Add chopped capsicum and keep stirring till it softens.
5.Add boiled vegetables,mix well with the help of spoon.Cook on low flame for 5 minutes.Add little water if required.
6.Garnish bhaji with chopped corriander leaves,chopped green chillies,and a little butter.
7.Heat butter on tawa.Slice pav pieces horizontally into two and fry pav pieces in butter till it becomes golden brown
Garnish bhaji with corriander leaves,chopped onions,lemon wedges.Serve hot.
