I had posted Rice idli recipe earlier and today i am posting sooji idli recipe with a spinach(palak) and toamtoes in it.
colourful pattern of idlis will also attract kids and they will love eating this .
Servings: makes 15 idlis.
Sooji or rawa:2 cup
Dahi: 1/2 cup
Salt: to taste
Spinach(palak):1/2 cup paste
Tomato:1/2 cup paste
Green chilli : 1 chopped
1.Mix salt and soda in sooji. Now divide sooji into 3 equal parts. In one part add dahi, in second part add tomato paste and in third part add spinach paste.
2.Grease idli pan with oil. Now first pour tomato mix puree with spoon, then dahi mix and lastly add palak mix.
3.Steam for 15-20 minutes. Serve with coconut or tomato chutney.
