Kuttu atta tikki is my favorite during navratri fast or any other fast. My mom used to make delicious tikkis from kuttu ka atta and i learned these tikkis from my mom. Boiled potatoes, some spices and kuttu ka atta and done.
Serving: makes 15 tikkis
Ingredients:
Kuttu ka atta: 150 gm
Potatoes: 4-5 boiled and mashed
Green chili: 1 chopped
Sendha namak: to taste
Red chili powder: 1/2 tsp
Oil: for deep frying
Method:
1. In a mixing bowl add half mashed potatoes and half atta. Don’t mix all potatoes and atta as it will stick while adding water and forming tikkis.
2. Add little water and all spices, green chili and shape them into tikkis . Made a hole in between tikkis with your finger.
3. Heat oil in a kadai. Add 3-4 tikkis at a time and deep fry them till golden brown and crispy.
4. Serve hot with green chutney or dahi.
